At the heart of my work is a collaborative, client-centred relationship, the so called therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. Together, we gently explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process, shaping our work in a way that feels meaningful and supportive for you.

You are not a passive recipient, but an active participant in your own journey. More about my approach to counselling

As a therapeutic counsellor with lived experience of neurodiversity , (a ‘neurospicy’ therapist) I specialise in supporting people through low mood, anxiety, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges.

Neurodivergent Counsellor and Coaching for autism, ADHD, ADD, AuDHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia

As a therapeutic counsellor with lived experience of neurodiversity , (a ‘neurospicy’ therapist) I have a particular passion for working with neurodivergent individuals and their loved ones, understanding first hand how different brains work and the unique strengths they bring. As a neurodivergent therapist, I offer a space where your experiences don’t need to be explained or justified they can simply be explored and understood, at your own pace. Neurodivergent counselling is a way of working that recognises and respects that we all experience the world differently. It includes people who are autistic, ADHD, ADD, AuDHD, dyslexic, dyspraxic or who simply feel that their way of thinking, feeling, or processing doesn’t quite fit within what’s often expected.

Therapy is shaped around you, your pace, your needs, and what feels manageable and supportive. I offer a space where you don’t have to explain or justify yourself. We can gently explore your experiences together, helping you make sense of them in a way that feels compassionate, validating, and true to who you are.

There is nothing ‘wrong’ with you, only patterns and experiences that may be asking to be understood or are not serving you anymore.

Counselling and coaching areas include:

  • Social interaction and communication
  • Routine and structure
  • Emotional regulation
  • Low self-worth/low self-esteem/low self-belief
  • Self harm
  • Rejection sensitivity

Inner Child and Boundaries

Inner child therapy helps you understand the younger parts of yourself that still carry old feelings of fear, sadness, or not being good enough.

These parts can quietly shape how you react to stress, relationships, and everyday challenges.

In therapy, we gently explore those early experiences and learn how to offer the care, safety, and understanding that may have been missing back then. This process isn’t about blame, it’s about compassion.

By reconnecting with your inner child, you begin to soothe anxiety, build self trust, and feel more grounded and confident in who you are today.
